Cozumel.. i am confused!?

i was planning on going in aug. this year and i just read that all of the hotels are closed! is that true?

I just got an email from the Cozumel Occidental that it is reopening and totally refurbished. They are offering specials too.
I don't believe they're all closed. Some may be closed due to hurricane damage this past season. I'd find a hotel that you're interested in staying at and contact them directly.
No its not true i just came back from cozumel last week and its beautiful, check your info, it is true they are remodelating some hotels and the beach because of the hurricane katrina (i think that's the name) but theres no problem at all, a thing that by aug the service will be 100% complete
