Travel Info Where is the best vaction spot in Mexico? Travel Tips Depends on what you like I guess. Have been to Puerta Vallarta on the Pacific side, Cancun, and Cozumel. If you are the constant party type and want a more US atmosphere then Cancun would be the choice. Found Puerta Vallarta a bit quieter and prettier/safer with more of a European influence (and the French Canadiens seemed to be everywhere). My favorite travel spot anywhere, though, is Cozumel(have been there multiple times); it is very quiet and laid back, great snorkeling, lots of different bars/restaurants to try, enough attractions to keep you busy for a week or two, and I felt very safe walking the streets any time of day/night Others the donkey show in boys town NOT puerto vallarta, I can tell you that much. NOT Acapulco, people are dying with shooting and bombs from the drug dealers. CANCUN is fine but expensive, the paradise is in COZUMEL, near CANCUN and cheaper. Oaxaca I have been to Puerto Vallarta which is great and I have also been to the Mayan Riviera a number of times. The Mayan Riviera is the way to go. Playa del Carmen up to Tulum there are many great resorts. I have been to Club Maeva, Baha Principe and Xcaret on the Mayan side and to Riu Jalisco on the PV side.They were all supurb but Xcaret was the best. Cozumel---children activities, good beaches, not to crowded and HOTTIES and it is cheeper than Cancune |
