You generally find the best deals for things that companies are trying to sell before they lose them. As far as cruises, I have found that my agent gets me the best rates, 9 out of 10 times. Between group rates and different promotions, she is almost always lower than "online discounters" With cruises you save more money if you book as far in advance as possible. If you wait for last minute savings, you never know what you will get, if anything. Plus, you need to be really flexible with what you are wanting. Airfare, if you need to fly, can knock out any savings you may have had. And, it can be time consuming to watch for promotions on your own. The best thing is to just shop around and see what you can find. Others try Cruise.com they always have some good rates, if you go between Sept-March, rates are good except maybe christmas and new years holiday weeks. Rates really start to jump up between May-August(when schools are out) Also I have found a good rate on Cruise.com then I called Carnival Cruise lines directly and they beat the price! So it doesnt hurt to shop around. I work with the same person at Carnival all the time now and he tells me when they have specials...good luck myself it depends on the season you are travelling, there are specials leaving Galveston as well from Florida, but it depends the dates, in all cruises are certain dates that you can get a very good discount http://www.mexicohotels.com |
