Has anybody been on a Carnival Cruise to Mexico? |
Travel Info Going on a cruise on the ectacy out of Galvestion in Aug. just wondering if anyone has been and what their experiance was like. Travel Tips I went to Cozumel in November 2004 on Carnival Miracle. It was a great trip. My sugestion for Cozumel is to take a taxi into town that is where you will find the best deals. Make sure you have enough time to get back to the ship. If scuba diving is your thing this is also good to do in Cozumel. Senor Frogs is a great place to eat. Costa Maya mexico is a good place the water is so clear. The mexicans will bug you alot to buy their stuff but if you are not interested politly tell them no. I will tell you one thing they will go lower on their prices. Just hagle until you get the price you want. I liked these ports we are going back in November 2007. www. cruisecritic.com has some great information about the exact ship you are going on and you can read reviews from people that have been on the ship you are going on. I hope you enjoy your cruise. The Mexico cruise was my first but I have since been on another cruise and have one scheduled for September for Hawaii. Cruising is the best way to take a vacation. You can see so many diffrent things and do not have to move your stuff from hotel to hotel. I know I am going on and on but I just wanted you to know how great it is. Others I'm not sure how the boat is now, it was one of the boats used for relief efforts in the hurricane. So, it went through a lot during that period of time. But, they did do some refurbishment on it, before it sails again, so that should help. I was on it a few years ago, it was pretty good. But again, I'm not sure how much has changed since all of this happened.
