Where could I find more information on cave tubing close to Cozumel Mexico? |
Travel Info I'm planning on going to Cozumel soon and I have been told that there are caves to tube down close to Tulum. How close is Tulum to Cozumel? I am told it is relatively close. Travel Tips Hi - You take a ferry or a flight - ferry into Playa Del Carmen, flight to Cancun - Tulum is on the far side of Cancun - you have to pass through Cancun from Playa to reach it - it is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours Others Cozumel is on an island, so you'll have to take the ferry back to the mainland. It goes to Playa del Carmen, but I don't know if it goes closer to Tulum or not. I think the area we went to about 10 years ago that was near Tulum was called Xaret or Xelha. There were sinotes (freshwater streams and caves). It was nice. You can do Cave Tubing at Xcaret Eco-archeological Theme Park in the Mayan Riviera area. Have Fun!
