Has anyone traveled to Puerto Aventuras Mexico? |
Travel Info We are going to the Palace resorts. What would you recommened we do, did you have an enjoyable time? Travel Tips Puerto Aventuras is just a little port town a little bit down the road from Playa del Carmen. Playa is the main town/ attraction/ nightlife in the area. Some of the popular things to do are: Xel Ha- fresh and salt water park with snorkeling, dolphins, jungle, etc. I did this and really enjoyed it. The snorkeling isn't the best, but you see lots of fish! Xcaret- same as Xel Ha. Same owners and everything. Tulum- Mayan ruins on the beach Playa del Carmen- Fun and hip nightlife, lots of shopping. Fun in the evening and at night. Ferry to Cozumel_ You can take that from downtown Playa del Carmen. This is fun. Lots of shopping in Cozumel. You are staying in a Palace Resort. I have heard these are really nice, and if I were you I would spend most of the time enjoying the all inclusive drinks and activities that will be provided right at your hotel. It keeps the price of your trip down and ends up being more relaxing because you didn't spend your whole vacation running around!
