Travel Info What are some things to do in cozmel, mex? Travel Tips Tons of stuff to do in Cozumel... Go to Chankanaab National Park and take the walking tour, snorkel, hang on the beach, scuba. Go to Ernesto's Fajita factory for some great ceviche and fajitas. Go to El Shrimp Bucket for... shrimp. Go on a tour of Chichen Itza: by plane or tour bus from Playa del Carmen. Shop in San Miguel. More snorkeling & scuba. Deepsea fishing. Hit the Hard Rock Cafe... just to do it. Check out Tulum and/or Xcaret on the mainland. Chill on the beach. Source(s): Been there, done that. Gonna do it more. Other Travel Tips See the Mayan Ruins Start a business advising illegals on how to hide when they get here as we are mad and intend to stop them now. LOL Just do the touristy things like the ruins and stuff and eat the good food and stay away from the drinking water unless it is bottled in the US. scuba dive,fish ,sail,swim, See the ruins. It also depends on how you are getting there? By ship. Hook up early for the excursions because besides the ruins and shopping (all the shops sell the same things for different prices even though they are only located a few feet from each other) there is nothing else to do. If you are here just for the day i would go find a nice little beach club to snorkel like La Palapatita located between the international ferry terminal and town, or Playa Corona where we have seen the most variety of fish and lots of them,or rent a car for a drive around the island , stop at Coco nuts on the other side and check out their photo albums and at Chen Rios for a dip in the water and their seafood platter!If you walk to downtown there is a lot of shopping , but a lot of the came things .I do love the downtown square by the ferry terminal for live salsa every sunday,wed. and friday night at 8 pm. If your here longer then a day,take the ferry accross to playa for some shopping or to see some of the many ruins on the mainland.Or go to XCARET it's amazing!But you need a full day there.i could go on and on...ceck out www.cozumelinsider.com |
