Travel Info Whats the cost to go from Cancun to Cozumel by ferry? Travel Tips that's an easy one: THERE IS NO FERRY FROM CANCUN TO COZUMEL. you need to go to playa del carmen...approx.1 hour south of cancun.the ferry from there cost 110 pesos (currently 11U$) each way. the first one goes at 5am from playa to cozumel.....the last one at 11pm. the only ferry-service from cancun is to "isla mujeres". greetings from playa, cancundivers follow up: there are only two companies which offer this service.one is "ultramar" and the other one is "mexico waterjets".both companies leave playa every other hour on the hour.one starts at 5am the other one at 6am.this way there are never to boats at the same time.BOTH charge 110 pesos each way for adults and 60 pesos for kids.if you are resident of cozumel or work there you have a what's called "amigo-frecuente-card" and you will only pay 60 pesos each way. please check the links below Source(s): living in playa...going to cozumel once a week. http://www.granpuerto.com.mx/cozumel.htm... http://www.crucerosmaritimos.com.mx/inic...
