One Day In Cozumel? |
Travel Info I am going on a cruise next week with my boyfriend. We are in our early twenties and are open to anything really. We love to shop, drink, relax on the beach, see historical sites, etc... What are a couple things that we absolutely HAVE to see while we're there? Thanks for your help! Travel Tips Just back from Cozumel can say we really had a blast. We had a whole week there though. I can tell you Cozumel is a really beautiful island and I would recomend renting a car and cruising the island, it is really easy to navigate the island and its a must see to the East side. The beaches are nice and the waves are fun to play in. Stop by Coconuts for lunch and bring a tshirt to hang up with your names on it. You can see some Mayan Ruins if you take the car to the other side although you will have to take a tour at Punta Sur, as you cant take your car back there. If your not up for a car Dzul-Ha beach club is nice and relaxing and also you can rent snorkling gear, or go to Sunset Beach Club, they also have some real nice snorkling. San Miguel is a really nice town to walk around in and do some nice shopping in. you can get Corona for 1.00/american. Cozumel is really safe, much safer than Cancun, and Playa. Enjoy it I wish I was going back already! Others Rent a jeep and drive to the east side of the island. No hotels there BUT Beautiful beaches and there are a couple of places to stop and get something to eat and drinks. Bring your camera, it's awesome. It's what Cozumel is all about. Don't miss it. |
