Vacationing in Cozumel, Mexico the first week in march? |
Travel Info My boyfriend and i are staying at an all-inclusive resort in cozumel for 4nights and 5days. wed love to try and do everything, manly scuba diving. i want to plan an itinerary before we go.. any ideas? Travel Tips Snorkeling is the best, see Tulum (ruins) and Coba Ruin, and make sure to go to Xaret Others I took a cruise to Cozumel a bit ago. Was very nice! I took a horse-back tour through the north side of the island where the locals had discovered some monuments and aritifacts buried in the jungle. It was an enjoyable ride, and some mysterious sites. I especially liked the end of the tour.... an ears-laid-back, flat out run across a white beach with the spray of clean clear blue water splashing around me and the horse like we were the only ones on the planet... or at least in paradise. It was the first time I'd been on a horse in years, but well worth the experience. segway experience Make sure to visit both Tulum and Xel-Ha. Both are great tourist attractions. If you can stand bartering you can also go to their shops / store, they have great stuff and you can get things fairly cheap. Definitely do the scuba diving and snorkeling, it's GREAT fun. 2 kill 2 places with one trip make sure you take the boat to the to Playa del Carmen. It is worth going just to see the difference in places. The boat runs almost all day. Also, if you can get on one of the "booze cruises" in the evening I would recommend that. We went and we saw dolphins right by our boat. Try to go on the one that is offered at the El Cozumeleno's Dive Shop. Senor Frogs should go on your list for a night activity if you are into the party stuff. Shopping downtown at the mall and on the streets is a must. went 2x last yr |
