Travel Tips this sounds like i really romantic idea. i also don't have suggestions, but i can tell you that jewelry in mexico is VERY overpriced. even jewelry stores simply go to the US, purchase the rings at sticker price, and then return and mark it up. that's how they make a profit, by charging MORE than the ring cost when they bought it in the US. but, i can see that maybe the memory of buying your ring is why you are getting it there....and that's ok. it's sweet. This is the biggest shopping spot you will find. You have to know what you're looking for and how to evaluate the item. The Mexicans are notorious for over pricing jewelry or giving you sub-quality products. Good Luck.... International is the most popular store on the Island. They have some really great rings too. Been on a cruise there. |
