What activites are there on cruise ships? At night do certian areas turn into a dance club? |

Travel Tips Some areas turn in buffets, and some areas become adult only, some areas are teen discos, and some are other nightclub areas playing jazz music or whatever and they always have something to do and their is the pool band in the day when its nice and sunny hopefully and the casino is usually really busy late at night so it just depends on what cruise line and where your going. Others Apparently the latest craze is called 'Tourist Fishing' It's played like this. The crew grabs the nearest tourist aged over 83 that hasn't tipped anybody all week and slings them over board. Everybody else is given bits of string with hooks on the end, and . . . . . . Lots of activities, didn't you get a brochure? Nts are filled with disco dancing, soft music, piano bar sing a longs, karaoke, casinos, walking around deck, music for any set of ears pretty much. Ship I just go off had a Latin club. If traveling without a loved one and looking for love, wear your club clothes. Traveling with a loved one, just travel in comfy clothes, anything goes.....just be comfortable. Days are spent on or off ship, bathing suits, cover ups and shorts. worked on ships for years and now just a passenger Cruise vacations have features that appeal to people of all ages and interests such as swimming pools, spas, sports bars, simulated golf, rock-climbing walls, pool tables, ice shows, card rooms, libraries, art auctions, cooking classes and even a bowling alley. All that info should've been provided to you by the cruise line or your travel agent, or you can go to the cruise line's website, look up your particular ship, and find all the amenities and activities they offer for your particular cruise. I've been on 2, five-day carnival cruises and teh ships I was on had a piano bar, rock n' roll type bar, and disco for nightlife. Casino open all hours (except in port), and sometimes dancing and a band on the Lido (pool) deck. There are often small scale vegas-type shows, comedians, and singers/bands as night time entertainment as well. During the day you've got pools and hot tubs, the gym/spa, maybe golf or some other outdoor type activity, food available 24/7, demonstrations, games, shopping and lectures on the ports of call, tea-time, wine/booze tastings, and various other activities around the ship that cater to people of all ages and interests.
