Source(s): been on one before Other Travel Tips there are excurtions to go on and your always near places to walk to and shop and eat,and theres a shuttel that most likely will take you around. the cruise will probably have maps of ports of call. use those to see where you are going. If your going out of the US be careful of the alleyways and don't go down any dark and deserted ones. Be careful when buying things in foreign countries many times they aren't authentic. Your cruise will probably give you a map with trusted places to go and see. If it is a small town walking is great. But if it is large a taxi may work. Ask your cruise director or someone who may know if you aren't sure. if you are doing an excursion then find your meeting place for the excursion, if not then ask where the good shopping places are, ask a memeber of the cruise , they usually have maps of shopping areas, my favorite thing to do is to find a bar with a beach and relax and have some drinks and explore the beach! this however may not be the thing to do for everyone but i have been on three cruises and gone to to cozumel a few times, so now i like to just go to the beach there and be a bum! |
