How would I go about smuggling alcohol on Carnival cruise lines? Any creative ideas? |

Source(s): sa Other Travel Tips I think they would allow a small ammount? i dont know about bottles as they have these restriction in airports not sure about cruise ships! Whiskey in Listerine bottles works like a charm. I wouldn't even try. The cruiselines have seen it all. I just got back from a 10day Caribbean cruise last month. I took a six pack of 24 oz bottles of Pepsi ( I don't like Coke) and a six pack of 20 oz water. They allow both of these. If I want a mixed drink I just order one at the bar. I save enough money on the cruise, airfare and excursions not to worry about the bar bill. Also, who wants to get stuck in your cabin trying to hide your booze. I want to be out with my friends and in the sunshine. Drinks are also cheap on shore. The new weight limits on airlines is also a reason I don't pack bottles of booze. I buy the pop and water just before boarding the ship. Vodka - Water Bottle. Just carry it with you in your hand. EVERYONE has a bottle of water these days. I've done it every single time I cruised, and 9 cruises later, still works like a charm. :) Don't worry about it. Just put some in there, and *IF* for some reason they DO find it? Oh Well....not going to ruin your trip right??? I personally think (and hope) that the cruise line is too busy trying to find drugs, explosives, guns....to care about me bringing a bottle or two of vodka, crown royal or whatever....and again, if they took it, who cares? (But if you're a BIG drinker - put a couple bottles in your carry on - and put the rest in your checked luggage.) :) Just dont do what one of my friends did - she put GOLD SCHLAUGGER(sp) in a GLASS bottle, and it broke all over her clothes! UGH!!! Till this day, that smell makes me want to yack! Have fun on your cruise!!!!!!!! I cruise at least twice a year |
