Should I work for a US cruise ship company or a UK cruise ship company?

Travel Info
I have been offered two jobs, both simular pay, positions, and environment except one is based in the US and the other in the UK.

Which Job should I take??

Travel Tips
It does not matter where a cruise line is based in regard to taxes... you are responsible for claiming your income earned and paying applicable taxes in your Country.

Since you have stated the jobs themselves are similar - the only thing left to decide is which ports you wish to visit.

The general opinion of most workers is that US lines are better to work for - however, I don't agree with this. In my experience, (working with 5 different lines) some were better than the US lines. There was very little difference.

Since you didn't mention the cruise line or the ship you would be working on I can only suggest you do a search online to see if anyone has said anything about their experiences on it. CruiseJunkie.com has some general labor info as well. Source(s): http://www.cruisejunkie.com
Other Travel Tips
Depends on which port you will get to see . Also I'm pretty sure the the tax rates are different
