Cruise ship gambling rules?

Travel Info
If anyone's been with carnival on the glory, or any other ship and has gambled i was wondering about the casino rules. I've read that drinks arent free like in vegas, atlantic city and you don't really get much comps on the ship either. I think i read somewhere that Blackjack rules were same with atlantic city but i wanted to see from the people who've played.

Also, i do a fair amount of card counting and was wondering if pit bosses on the ships take notice to those things like in vegas, atlantic city. I cover pretty well and havent had problems, but just curious. Thanks

No free drinks at all. I have never seen or heard of any comps while gambling on a cruise ship. The casino space on ships is leased to a land based casino in London for most of the ships sailing from the US. Talk to the casino manager about comps. You might get some - who knows?

The dealers are mainly from Eastern European countries and some tend to be rather cold. If you are caught counting cards in blackjack, the most they could do to you is to ban you from the casino for the remainder of the cruise.

No free drinks. Yes, the pit bosses do watch and we were comped however never saw what the comps were or have not received anything stating we were comped ( dealer told us we were) Blackjack rules basically the same.
Have Fun!!!
the drinks definatly arnt free. and payout wise is average. ive won and lost and ive seen people win but its only been 500$ at the most ive seen win. their rules are the same as atlantic city. their pit bosses do notice stuff and lot of cruises have :undercover: workers. they also do have cameras on the ships and in the casino. you also most likely wont be able to gamble while on us land/water
My wife and I walked away with more money than we started with. We were having too much fun to worry about comps. If your worried about someone watching you, your probably doing something you shouldn't be doing. I enjoyed gambling on-board much more than Vegas, Atlantic City, Oklahoma, or Louisiana. btw Carnival Cruise Lines is the bomb!

No free drinks, but Michigan casinos dont offer free drinks either. I played Blackjack and found the rules and system to be the same. The dealers seems to be fairly competent so iut might depend on the dealer if the can tell you're counting
