Best Cruise to take for 1st time cruise, special requirements if 1 of us has a passport from a foreign country |
Travel Info My husband and I are thinking about a cruise for our 5 year anniversary. Would like to know what would be best for late 20's couple, no kids yet. What ship, best place to go? Also are there special requirements if one of us is a u.s. citizen (has a u.s. passport) and the other is not but has appropiate documentation (i.e. home country passport and re-enterence documentation) Suggestions? Thanks!! Travel Tips I like Carnival. We always go in Sept or early Dec. It is the cheapest time, and there are less kids. As far as the passport issue, I would check with the cruise line. I like the seven day Caribbean cruises. Three or four days jus isn't enough, and the seven days are not significantly more expensive than the five days. My favorite ship is the Carnival Glory out of Port Canaveral. Source(s): sa Other Travel Tips When I was in my late 20's I went on a Carnival cruise round the Caribbean which visited New Orleans - it was fantastic. Only advice would be look out for the newer ships but you should have fun regardless. First of all, if you have proper documents, you can take any cruise!! In my opinion, Carnival cruises and Norwegian cruises are lovely. Since its your first cruise, think about taking a 4 to 5 day cruise. If you take anything less, you wont have time to see anything!! Southern caribbean and Hawaiian cruises definitely have my vote. I took both of those cruises and had a great time. Whatever you choose to do, have a great time! Carnival.com and ncl.com. |
