Does anyone have info on the Carnival Conquest passenger robbery in Jamaica? |
Travel Info What exactly happened during the robbery? Were any of the passengers involved harmed? Will Carnival be taking any measures to better protect its passenges, particularly in Jamaica? SCARY!!! surprisingly I can't find message threads about it on the cruise sites? Others I never heard anything about it but really dont see how any cruise line can do much of anything. I have taken 5 cruises and have seen a lot of big scary men in uniforms with bigger scarier guns. All it makes me realize is that when I travel outside of the U.S. and Canada its a different world with different rules. I have heard from other people that Jamaica has had alot of issues with tourists wow - never heard of this and that is where im sailing this coming Thanksgiving too! Thanks for the information - it shows that we all need to be careful when traveling outside the U.S. |
