Travel Tips Yes, I have been on many cruises with several cruise lines and in the past 4 or 5 years they all have had internet access, including WI-FI service. However, the internet access on ship is really expensive. The last cruise we were on, a RC ship, internet access was about $50 an hour and that is the going rate on cruise ships. I always advise cruiser to skip the on ship service and wait until you get to a port where you can usually find an internet cafe where you can get access of $5.00 or $6.00 an hour. I have done this many times around the Caribbean and elsewhere. Many times the internet cafe is right at the port or if you ask a local person they can tell you where it is.
