Travel Tips
Ahh now there's a fine wee trip from Campbeltown across to Ballycastle on North Antrim (Ireland) Ulster ran by Caledonian McBrayne ferries. It is a fine scenic trip and you can take a vehicle, enjoying some stunning coastlines and passing by Rathlin Island. You'll enjoy a night or two stay over in Ballycastle where there are some good pubs and great music. You will want to stay longer. It is full of character and the Antrim coast is amazing.

Call in at Tessie's (Anglers' Arms) on The Quay for a wee dram of one of some 28 or more malts ! Go on up the town to Wee Tom's (House of McDonnell) to catch the trad music. Source(s): Wandering Aengus

you can get a ferry from rosyth to zebrugge every second night. cant remember the company who organised it, but my friends weren't very keen on brugge.
DFDS sail from South Sheilds - near newcastle. you can get the train down and the DFDS bus takes you to the port. it's a cheaper option and it goes to amsterdam.
A number of the cruise companies have a starting and/or finishing port in Scotland for some cruises. Usually Greenock Leith or Rosyth but I believe other ports have been used.

An example is attached for a Black Prince Cruise. Fred Olsen do many cruises as well and there is the Cruise ship based at Inverness which goes through the Great Glen as part of its run.

Hebridean.co.uk work out of Oban and covers West Scotland. Bit pricey!

Perhaps you mean going to Norway, Iceland or the Med etc. in which case other than the odd ones which call at Leith it is very limited.
