Travel Tips i have been a cruise ship passage and have been to Mexico, Cozumel to be exact, I loved going through the shops, and even when to the Mayan ruins on Cozumel, it is a smaller one but very nice and the beaches are nice too. mostly I enjoy the ship and the food!!!! going again too Source(s): o:)NA Other Travel Tips Less hawkers of wares and more sights. Pepto Since you must be a Mexican hater, like all americans, please stay on the ship, while it is docked in any Mexican port. The most popular excursion destination if you cruise to the eastern shores is the Myan ruins. They are pretty much a must see for everyone. There are larger and smaller complexes to see. The smaller are better if you like less crowds and are satisfied with seeing less ruins. If crowds don't bother you and you have rolls of film to burn go to the big sites like Tulum. try the Mexican Riviera cruise. We went to Cozumel before and there are lots of mosquitoes at the Mayan ruins although you can buy off lotion to keep them at bay but still it disturbs me big time for i worry about my kids health. now, i agree that the beach at Cozumel is nice, crystal blue water and clean but there's not a lot of things to do aside from that. |
