She sails out of San Diego and has 4 day itineraries and 5 day itineraries. Go to a travel agent. They can usually get the best deals. Carnival Paradise offers 3 and 4 day sailings from Los Angeles (Port of Long Beach) to Ensenda. Four day sailings also call on Catalina. Carnival Elation offers 4 and 5 day sailings from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. Five day sailings also call on Ensenada. Elation and Paradise are essentially identical ships in terms of the amenities that they offer onboard. So the question your family needs to answer is where they want to depart from, how long a cruise are they looking for, and would they prefer Ensenada or Cabo San Lucas. Personally, I'd rather go to Cabo than Ensenada. |
