Another question about a Carnival cruise..? |
Travel Info The person I talked to on the phone with carnival said that we would be in a room that sleeps five to six people..Has anyone been in one of these rooms? What is the bed situation like? Travel Tips that could be a couple of different things, I have been in a stateroom that holds up to 5 and it had 2 upper berths, we only had 4 but they say you can put 1 roll away bed in it. I know there are bigger rooms too, so you should be fine, just keep organized in you unpacking and packing. also if you have your room number you can go to Carnivals web site and see what your room has and where it is, I pick out my room when I book so I know where we will be and where the rooms with uppers are before I call. Just got the "Fun Ships" then the ship you are on and "Deck plan" from there pick your deck in the pull down menus and have fun exploring before you even get there, I do Source(s): o:)NA Other Travel Tips I've never been in the suites so maybe they sleep 5-6 people but in the basic balcony or ocean view room they do have three bed but it is a real stretch to think 5-6 people (even children) can sleep in them. They have two twin beds and a convertible sofa bed. The rooms are fairly small with small bathrooms. I took my entire family, 10 people, and we got 5 rooms. You can get adjoining rooms which we did. Good luck on you cruise. I have been in a room with four. Two adults and two children. It is crowded. We had a queen bed with two upper berths that the room steward closed during the day. Showering was the biggest problem. You almost have to make an appointment. But to us, this is minor. We only use the room for sleeping, showering and dressing. We have done this before, and we are booked with the same arrangements again in Sept for seven nights. We enjoy the ship activities, dining, and ports of call. The room is just a place to keep our stuff. sa nope..but i wish I could afford just 2 get away from where I am right now the Stress is killing me bunk beds. some pop out of the wall. We just slept and cleaned up there. didnt spend much time in the room. Oh, and a nice flat screen tv in the corner. Not a whole lot of extra storage. |
