What's the best thing to do on the Carnival Glory ship? |
Travel Info there are three days at see and i am not sure how to use that time. Please keep in mind i cannot gamble or drink. Travel Tips I have on more than on cruise and I do not drink or gamble either. the first thing I like to do is just explore the ship and take pictures of all of it, this also help to learn it quickly. Every morning you will have the Carnival Capers that will tell you what the activities that they have going on that day, even if you do not want ot join in go and watch some of them are so funny! this is from the Glory, "Fun Day at Sea" some of the Activities are: Trivia fun Ice Carving Demonstration Adult Ping Pong Tournament Hairy Chest Contest Watermelon eating Contest Country Dance Class Game show Mania Basketball free throw Tournament bingo ($20 a card, with large prizes) Theme Parties: Country Dance Music Party Beatles Sing-a-Long the Big 70's & 80s Party and this is just from one day, and not evan all of it, there are shows at night and more! Source(s): o:)NA next cruise 9/8/07 on Carnival Glory Other Travel Tips CANCEL YOUR TRIP IMMEDIATELY! Carnival is a horrible cruise! The rooms were cold and smelly, there were bratty kids everywhere, there were topless women everywhere, and the pools were overcrowded. Some kid went down the slide and nearly drowned me when he fell on me! Bring an ipod because that's the only thing you will be doing. I am a former travel agent and an experienced traveler. I was on the carnival Glory in May of 06. She is a beauty, but quite large! On days at sea, there are so many activities going on that you will not be bored. As someone stated earlier, there are games (win, lose, or draw, trivia, newleywed game, etc.), dancing, the famous "Harry Chest Contest", which is absolutely hilarious. Don't worry, you will find numerous activities on Sea Days to entertain you. If you go to Webshots.com, you can search for carnival capers (the daily carnival newsletter that shows all of the days activities). There are usually several Capers posted for each ship from different passengers. You can use these as a guide to see what you want to do before you go on the cruise, and hightlight any activities you don't want to miss. Just be sure you get the correct Capers for Western or Eastern Itinerary. Also, we took poker chips with us and got a gew $5 games of Texas Hold Em going on up on the main pool deck. The only times you will find not much activity is during the days at port. During our Costa Maya port day, we didn't stay off the ship for too long (we were terribly sunburned), and when we came back, there were no activities going on all afternoon except for an art auction. The pool was open, of course, but we were looking for something to do inside! Also, we had the later dinner seating (yuck!), so there were very few activities between about 5:30 and 7:00, but lots of activities going on while we were eating dinner. No matter what you do, you will have a blast. Make sure not to overbook yourself with activities - you need a little time for resting, too!
