Have you ever been on a cruise before? |
Travel Info Have you ever been on a cruise? What cruise line did you take? Where did you go? Who did you go with? Was it fun? What did you like best about it? Did you get dizzy? Personally I have been on Royal Carribean to Mexico!! I went with my Mom and it was sooooooo much fun!!! =) Travel Tips yes i have: carnival cruise line 10 day cruise Ochoa Rios Jamaica grand Cayman island freeport Bahamas it was great. all the food and entertainment you want! i like the food the best. in the formal dining area, you can order as much as you want. i didn't get dizzy. the ship has stabilizers on it. but then again i didn't go through a storm. on the islands you get to go on excursions(swI'mming with dophins...etc.)you have to try it. im going on a Disney cruise at the beginning of the year. Others 1) yes 2) Royal Caribbean, Costa, Carnival, Princess, Norwegian 3) Caribbean, Bahamas, repositioning/Bermuda 4) I went by myself 5) It was so amazing I've done it 7 times since #1 6) nope, no dizziness yes, more than once Carnival Nassau, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, (going to this Sept, Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize) We go as a family had a blast, best vacation to take!!!!! Exploring new places and the food no o:)NA I have been on about 15 cruises, all over the Caribbean, Panama, the Mediterranian, the Baltic countries, Alaska, Canada. Loved all of them and have 2 more planned right now. I never get sea sick and the ships don't even rock like they did 15 or 20 years ago. The rides are smooth. I have been on RC, Norwegian, Princess and Celebrity. They are all great cruise lines. experienced cruiser I have been on seven cruises on four different cruise lines and currently have three more cruises booked. I have taken a fourteen night cruise to Alaska and a three night cruise to Baja California (Mexico). The other five cruises have been one week to the Mexican Riviera (twice), Western Caribbean (twice) and the Eastern Caribbean. I have two more one week cruises booked for the Southern Caribbean and the Mexican Riviera, and a five night cruise to Canada from NY. Cruising is great. From the time the muster drill is over to the time you have to leave the ship there is nothing to worry about. Everything is taken care of for you (meals, cleaning the cabin, entertainment, transportation ...). You can do as much or as little as you want. This is great for multi-generational families, as everybody can do their own thing, then everyone meets for dinner to share the day's adventures. Though I get sea sick easily, I have never gotten sea sick on a cruise ship (though one week I did take ginger tablets just in case). What I like the best are the relaxing days at sea and waking up each morning to find that the ship is about to enter a new port. I only have to unpack and pack once, since the hotel room moves with me. My favorite cruises are with family and friends. My first cruise and my last cruise both involved groups of twenty people ranging in age from grandparents to grandchildren. |
