You can go to the website of the cruise line you are applying for which should have a link to "careers" or "join our team" or something along those lines. It will give you a list of the types of positons and how to apply directly to the cruise line. For example, I had applied to work for Norwegian (ncl.com) and it was easy to do. There is also a website where for around $30 you can download a lengthy pdf file which tells you everything you need to know about getting a cruise ship job. I recomend using a search enging like ask jeeves to find it.
