Has anyone been on a Disney Cruise as an adult? |
Travel Info I'd love to hear both positive and negative comments. I'll be going on one in July, and have never been on one before. Travel Tips This is not an adult cruise that accommodates children. This is a children's cruise that accommodates adults. My husband and I are veteran cruisers. We decided on a Disney Cruise to introduce our then 5 and 7 year old daughters to cruising. Positives ======= * The Disney Corporation is masterful at customer service. * The cabins were laid out very well. * All areas of the ship were exceptional clean. * Many attractions for the children Cons ==== * Food was not that great. * There are characters and photographers everywhere. I got really tired of getting hugged by Mickey Mouse. * No "peace and quite"; this is environment allow the kids to express themselves. If this is your first cruise, you will likely enjoy the experience overall. However, don't consider this to be a typical cruise experience. Cruise lines are as different as the audience they cater to. Carnival is like a frat party. Many young people enjoy Carnival. Royal Caribbean is a bit more upscale. SilverSea is elegant. Others Athough I agree with above, it is a great experience and a lot of fun...the spa is great and so is the atmosphere...though if u prefer and adult cruise go on the princess cruise What an opportunity! Let the 'little child' in you go free. Greet the characters, let down your hair and be a kid again. If you don't mind the noise ( and they will make noise) then get in the swim of things and become a kid again. Personally, I'm too old now,, but if I were 20 years younger I'd do it! have a great time! |
