Cruise port at nassau?

My family and I are going over cruises to go on this upcoming june. There is this one trip which is on the carnival valor. One of our port calls would be at nassau,bahamas. I was speaking to my trave agent and she told us that in nassau we could go to atlantis, she told us it was kind of like a water park. My question is how much would it cost to get to atlantis from where the ship stops and how much would the entrance be.

But I wanted to clarify a few things said on this answer post. The shore excursion that Carnival offers is more of a tour excursion that includes Atlantis, so you wouldn't really spend a lot of time at Atlantis. Also, there's really not much beach activities there as the beach area is pretty much reserved for guests of the resort.

The Atlantis is a resort hotel located in Nassau. Contact Carnival--they probably have a shore excursion there for a fixed rate which includes transportation and beach activities. Also, check out the Atlantis online--it's A LOT of fun!
