Travel Info Can anyone tell me the names of cruise liners that provide haemodyalsis facilities on board their ships.? Travel Tips http://www.dialysisatsea.com/about.aspx... Hope this is helpful Others i doubt the average punter on here will know that, why dont you ring or email the cruise companies directly for this info? if you are booking through an agent they would be able to clarify this for you also! Here is a link to a cruise line. http://www.dialysisatsea.com/ Enjoy! I have been on board a few cruise ships and haemodialysis patients travel as a group usually 16 I think. They bring all their own equipment, medical staff, nurses and technicians. This is because they need to have medical staff on call if they become ill and the ships are only equipped with a small number of medical staff who are there to help people with unexpected illnesses. On one cruise we had a blackout for a short time BUT everytihing ended up fine. Check with your dialysis unit they can probably give you info about it. |
