I am an agent as well and agree with the comments regarding NCL.

My agency belongs to a consortium and has group space already reserved and available on 51 Hawaii sailings for 2007 on Princess, Holland-America, Celebrity, and Royal Caribbean. I have group space on 2008 sailings as well. Because of my affiliation with this consortium I am able to offer you and your group additional amenities on many of the sailings that would not be available through other agencies or the cruise line.

I may also be able to offer better rates on air, trip insurance, and airport transfers than those offered by the cruise lines and always compare to provide my clients with the best value.

I would look into putting together private tours for you and your group. You have a short period of time on each of the islands and private tours would allow you to maximize your time at the stops. On a 6 hour motorcoach tour, you usually end up spending 3 hours just waiting for people to load and unload!

Flying into the port on the day of departure you risk possible delays due to weather, aircraft equipment problems, etc. that could cause you to miss your sailing. I would recommend flying into your embarkation port at least one day prior to sailing and overnighting to assure you you don't miss the sailing.

Please contact me toll free at 866-485-8175 and let's discuss all these points, interests your group would have, sailing dates, etc. If we can find something that will work for you, then I'll be glad to book a wonderful and memorable cruise for your group.

The only problem I see is availability depending on when you want to go. When are you planning on going? Also some agents, including myself will not book NCL America without the client signing a waiver. NCL America is having major problems with service and crew. The product is not a true cruise experience only one of transportation. I have not heard one positive review in the past three years from an agent or client that has sailed on that product. Also every NCL seminar I have gone to has had the representative apologizing for the problems. Not a good sign. This has been consistent of NCL America, but have now started to hear similar reviews to their other product line.

NCL is the only cruise line that has a regular Hawaiian itinerary. Princess and RCCL have limited sailings in the spring and fall. Hence the availability issue I mentioned. But I did just book some clients, just last week on a Princess cruise that is round trip from Los Angeles. It is 15 days and hits all the Hawaiian Islands. I was also impressed with the price. I got them a balcony cabin for just over $5000 with a $100 ship board credit. They will be sailing the end of September for their honeymoon.

I listed my company website where you can contact me if you need assistance.

ANY travel agent will jump out of his/her skin to be able to book a cruise for 20 people; that's BIG bucks in commission. Just pick one out of your local phone book, or use AAA, American Express, or another reputable company.

She/you can also shortcut the agent process and call the cruise line directly, that's what the agent will do. Then she/you can ask and get answers to all of your questions and also be sure that whatever you all want is exactly what the cruise line does. For example if you want al of your cabins on the same deck and close to each other the line can give you direct feedback. Cruise lines have a contact phone number on their web site.
