What are some nice cruises that do not require a passport?

Travel Info
I mean short, three or four nights. Now that the Caribbean is off limits because it requires a passport, what are the options.
What US territories are the most fun to visit.

Travel Tips
You need a passport if you are going a on cruise even if not required. Let me explain why:

A passport is now required for all international flights into the US. You cannot 100% guarantee that everything is always smooth sailing. If you become sick, injured, have a family emergency, or something happens to the ship where they need to deviate to another port for mechanical or weather, you will have to fly home. It happens. You would then have to find the local consulate to assist you in obtaining the proper documentation to get home.

Not to mention that a cruise ship cannot open it's casino unless it stops at an international port. Sometimes they will only stop a couple of hours (and will not even disembark passengers) to fulfill this requirement.

As my mother always said, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

Others
you don't need a permit for cruises yet, not for another year.
Caribbean cruises that leave from and return to a US port do not require a passport until Jan of 2008. Only people flying to the Caribbean were required to have one Jan of 2007.
Norwegian has some coastal cruises but they are usually for a week. The steamboat out of New Orleans had some 3 days, not sure if they still do, but check them out. Most of your major cruises in U.S. cities have 3 days and you dont need a passport this year.
