has anyone ever been on it? the jewel is the one im going on? do you think there will be a lot of young kids to party with on a cruise?

The Jewel is actually one of my favorite NCL ships. It is newer, has tons of options for dining, lots of entertainment, great kids programs, etc. It really is a great ship, I think you will have a blast.

As far as kids, I'm not sure how young you are referring to. It is going to depend a little on when you go, what time of year, etc. If you go during the beginning of the school year, there won't be as many kids onboard as if you go during spring break. However, in general, there are a lot of kids onboard. You can visit the kid/teen programs to meet friends and then hang out around the ship if you like as well. If you are not young enough for the kids clubs, then there are usually a lot of kids from 18 to around 25 or so, and up as well. I don't think you will have a problem finding friends onboard.

I will include a link for some reviews that you might enjoy. There are reviews by members as well. If you go to their message board you can ask for anyone that will be going on your cruise as well and maybe you can meet some friends before you go.
