The number one passtime in Cuba is baseball. They LOVE it. Large groups of men will gather in public parks and squares and talk about it for hours.

Dominos is the most popular game that many people play.

Women enjoy watching "telenovelas" or soap operas that come from Spain, Argentina and other countries.

In rural areas, men also enjoy betting on cockfights. Gambling is illegal in Cuba though, so this is always done in a clandestine manner, usually in farmer's fields.

Of course, young Cubans also enjoy music and dancing and going out with friends. Money is tight, so you won't see many going to fancy clubs the way you do in other countries.

Swim to America and smoke cigars.
eat, stay out of POW camps and take rafts to Miami.
