P.S. can you bring back some of those niffty pharmaceutical drugs they got? thanks buddy (damn trade embargo) Others When Congress gets around to changing the laws.. Laws which seem awfully ridiculous in this day and age.. being that you can travel basically anywhere you want.. but not to a little country off the tip of Florida? Here in Canada it makes no difference as we can travel there, do business there, holiday there, phone there, etc etc.. I'd like to see Cuba open up to the vacation industry. There are some very beautiful beaches and country side there. I was there in the early 80's in the service. not until they lift the embargo. That's probably not gonna happen soon anyway because the government doesn't want to look like they're backing down by lifting the embargo. It's about time they do though, they think the trade embargo is affecting the government, but who it mostly affects is the people... You can go through mexico just like everyone dose but then again theres that fine the US will give you if they get you but there not hard on that everyone goes through mexico. Besides why would you want to go now theres no food cuba isnt what it use to be. See your Governor or Senator or whatever you do in US and get them to lift the embargo - 183 nations voted to lift the embargo - and only 4 for the embargo - bit of a sham really. As Cubanita says theres no food - rubbish - they is plenty of food and all Cubans get food. Nobody is starving - Cuba has a lot of problems - but it has a lot of good things going for in as well. The main thing is it is not commercialised as yet - the biggest industry is the tourist - so they go all out to help and look after the tourist - so even being American they will welcome you - but unfortunately not your money or your credit/debit cards as US dollar not legal anymore Forget about Fidel and go - you will not be disappointed |
