If you're coming from the U.S., you should change your money into Canadian dollars or Euros BEFORE leaving the states, because there is a 10% penalty placed on exchanging US dollars in Cuba. Make sure you use up all your pesos before you leave, because the exchange rate for changing back is pretty bad, and you can't exchange the cuban money outside of the country.
