How can I send a box with clothing to Cuba from Toronto? Is it safe? |
Travel Info I want to send a box (18 kg) to Cuba. I wonder if anyone has an advice on what is the better and cheapest way to do it. I have used the 2 kg option in the past, but obviously now is not an option.. Please help. Travel Tips Last year I sent a 9kg box from France to Colombia, and it took 2 months to arrive to the right person. I even thought it was robbed by an employee. From Canada to Cuba, same problems may occur to, I think... Be carefull... Others check the yellow pages under freight forwarders .. Not sure if U P S or Fedex go there... DHL delivers to Cuba but I don't think it's safe. Compare Canada Post rates with DHL, then go with the cheapest. And yes, it'll be safe. I've sent a basketball and sneakers, no problems other than taking a month to get there. JD---I HAD A BOX LOAD OF STUFF TO SEND TO CUBA---FROM TIJUANA B/C US DOESN'T DELIVER TO CUBA---YOU CANNOT SEND ANY PRODUCT TO CUBA---ONLY DOCUMENTS---LETTERS/ PICS.. ECT.......I WAS TOTALLY BUMMED IT'S MY SISTER IN LAWS BDAY AND I PURCHASED ALL KINDS OF PERFUMES AND LOTIONS FROM VICTORIAS SECRET AND CLOTHING FOR HER---IT'S INTERNATIONAL LAW THERE CALL DHL THEY WILL TELL YOU.....SORRY I'M STILL BUMMED OUT IF I FIND A WAY TO SEND IT I'LL BE SURE TO LET YOU KNOW DO YOU HAVE EMAIL? For best results please use a company that already does this for years as FEDEX, UPS , DHL do not go to Cuba ( Well DHL does but small parcels) this company is called Antillas Express but is not located in Totonto bt Montreal.
