Cuba where are the best beaches and the best tourist spot? |
Travel Info I have heard the people are just wonderful. Travel Tips If you want to be with other tourists Veradero is the place to be. It has beautiful beaches. If you want to go to the beaches and interact a little with the locals there are a few hotels just outside of Havana on the beach. Free trips to Havana so you can explore or just chose to stay at the beach resort. I stayed at Veradero and hated it because it is to touristy so my next trip I went to the Blau Club Arenal (a great hotel) which is just outside of Havana so I had the best of both worlds. I had the beautiful beaches with the option to go to Havana to poke around for free. I think if you want to get to Havana from Veradero it is about 100 pesos to get on the bus. Source(s): personal experience Other Travel Tips Varadero Beach , in matanzas Province 130 miles east of Havana City, beach is beautiful but since it is a tourist only area , you wont have real contact with the people. On the keys north of Ciego de avila province, Key Guillermo, Coco Kay ( Cayo Coco) , some of them are hardly visited by people, very quite .. nice beaches.. I went over to the Caribbean side of the island Cienfurgos - the sea was warmer by a few degrees - but I did not like the beach as much. Visited Cuba in Feb and April 07 heres blue lady blue asking a non racially charged question. i thought youd be busy answering those types of questions |
