Travel Info When is the best time to visit Cuba? I'm thinking of April..as long as it's not too crowded and touristy! Travel Tips Before Castro dies :) I've been in December several times, and it's been pretty nice. As far as I can tell, April might be a really good time, since it'll be warm but tourist season won't have peaked just yet (july-august is usually pretty crowded). About the touristy part, that has to do with which places you plan to visit. Some parts of Cuba are off-limits to Cubans who don't work in them, so obviously you're only going to see tourists there. And since tourism is an important source of income, you're bound to see extranjeros in most places. I wouldn't reccomend Varadero... sure, the beach is pretty, but you won't really get a sense of the real Cuba. Others When Fidel Castro Dies ! ! ! |
