Cuba- What is a terrific value vacation spot? |
Travel Info I am looking for a decent quality, reasonable priced all inclusive. I am looking for recommendations based on personal experience. Thank you! Travel Tips My friends stayed at the Beaches resort. They said it was nice enough. At least you didn't have to bring your own toilet paper. (They ration it out if you stay in Havana). Check the website http://www.beachesvaradero.com/... for info. When I visited, I stayed at Hotel Ambos Mundos in Havana. Ernest Hemingway used to stay there and the hotel has an old world feel to it and a great view of the city from the rooftop. Havana is great to visit if you can look past the poverty. It is fairly safe too since there are patrol guards everywhere. The hotel is cheap ($79 USD/night) and not all-inclusive, but the staff were helpful with suggesting good places to eat. If you do stay in Havana though, take your own toilet paper and your own soap. The hotel and other public restrooms ration the stuff out and won't always give you more if you ask for it. Source(s): Visited Havana in 2002 Other Travel Tips Havanna Ive been there, and its pretty good. "At the Copa, Copacabana...the hottest spot north of Havana!!!" LOL--Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. Barry Manilow's Recommendation Modified 1 year ago |
