Is there a way getting into Cuba? |
Travel Info I'm a US citizen, but I have heard many different ways to visit Cuba. I know flying from another country is possible, but what about documentation? Travel Tips Legally no however many Americans enter Cuba thru a third country. Cuba promotes travel by Americans by not stamping their passport Others Borrow one of the rafts that the Cuban refugees use to get here, I doubt they'll mind. passport needed but thats it you already got the idea Go through Canada. I would suggest writing to the state department for removable pages to be used in your passport. (There is likely a form on the state department's website.) These removable pages are designed to be used when people need to travel into countries which may cause problems for travel into other countries. For example, you would want to use removable pages for travel into Northern Cyprus if you were also intending to travel to Greece, because you wouldn't want the Greek immigration officials to see your Northern Cyprus stamp. The Cuban immigration officials would stamp the entry visa onto one of the removable pages, so that the American immigration officials would not see it. I believe that the Cubans are used to this by now, and should pose no problems. removable pages in your passport? Sorry, but that is plain b.s.!! Book a flight to M茅xico D.F. and get a connection from there to La Habana (Cubana or -better- Mexicana). Cheap and reliable. Nothing else needed. |
