Travel Info Im goin to cuba in January...anyone else goin this january...if yes..where in and how old are you? Im 18, Goin to cayo coco Travel Tips Hey girl! Going january 23 to Cardenas. I'm 20 and this is my first time going to Cuba. I was born here but my family is there. See you in varadero!! Others No, I'm not going -- but I wish I was! It's a wonderful place; I went a few years ago and stayed for two months. Havana, Trinidad and Santiago are amazing. Snorkeling there is the best in the Caribbean. If you can, get out of those boring expensive resorts and stay in bed 'n' breakfasts (they call them "casa particulars"). Ask some Cubans when you get there, or look for homes that have blue tent symbols on their doorposts. It's absolutely the best way to meet real Cubans, not just waiters. It helps a LOT if you know some Spanish, of course. Listen to TLN on TV before you go, to get the feel for it. And study one of those small phrase books. Wow, I really envy you.
