I am going to Varadero, Cuba in April 07 and want to take my camera with me? |
Travel Info I have a canon 20 D and I am worried about customs and power convertion. Will they take me camera and how do I charge it while I am there, what type of converter do I need.? I am also wondering about transfereing pics from my camera to an ipod? Travel Tips Not a problem, I bring my camera all the time, my friend brings is boom box and my other friend brings his computer. It's 110v. Enjoy! Others i can help you with the ipod problem but not the camera/cuba issue. When I went to Cuba 3 years ago, I had a Canon camera, cant remember the #, but I had no problem. They don't take your camera from you and you can take a picture of almost anyplace you go (not in an art museum, etc.) but of Che Chivas (?) monument, downtown Havana, Tropicana, Hemingways's bar and house, etc. We were'nt restricted at all except art museum. They are not as bad as the media makes them out to be. Its the darn US government you have to worry about (they dont take cameras either); don't know how Canada is. went to varadero in may '06 bring your regular charger it works there |
