Is Havana a good place for vacation? |
Travel Info Next year I'm going in vacation with a bounch of friend before graduating and we decided we would go to Havana in Cuba. I this a good place ?... What are the "must see"place there?...and also do you recommend some hotels back there?What is the temparature there when its march in canada?... Oh and what is the legal drinking age in Cuba? Thanks alot:) Thanks alot Travel Tips Havana is A+ in my book. I have been there twice and loved it both times. As for the drinking age..i'm not sure. But if you look old enough it's pretty easy to get it. Others If you're American, it's illegal because the Federal government forbades it. Havana is great...go to the "thorntree forum" and try to find info on the pub crawl...it takes you to lots of great bars. (Not sure of the drinking age..but I think its around 17 or 18. I wouldn't be too worried about getting a drink) There is so much to see and do in Havana. Start off in old Havana. If you want a guide you can hook up with a guy called "Potato" You will find out about him and his address in "Cuba Junky". He is highly recommended. Email him and he can recommend a good place for you to stay and help you set it up. Enjoy your trip...I have been to Havana twice and it was great. |
