would it be possible for an australian to find illegal work (its such a harsh word, i like "work without a green card") in nashville or neaby areas?

As to work. You should have worded the question, Are there any Mexicans in Living in Nashville? They could advise you on the under-the-table kind of jobs. However, as long as there are Chinese restaurants, there will be illegal work.
Of course you could always sell crack in the Bordeau section of Nashville. Plenty of work there and better pay than the take-out restaurant business.

Why not just get a green card and be legal. Illegal workers do not pay taxes, and eat up our country's taxes with the free health care. It sucks b/c we get stuck paying your taxes, and we cannot afford any type of healthcare of insurance b/c of people like you sucking up all of our hard earned benefits! Get a green card! In this day in age, I do not think we should be allowing ANYONE to enter our precious country illegally!
