How would you compare the weather of Hong Kong to Plano, Texas or Dallas area?

Travel Info
Is summer is Plano as humid as it is in Hong Kong? And does it snow in winter? how cool does plano usually get in winter?

Travel Tips
It's not as humid as Hong Kong. It rarely snows here, though occasionally we get ice storms. The temperature in the winter usually hovers around 55 degrees Fahrenheit, though it can drop near freezing when a cold front blows through (which is usually every 1-3 weeks).

I have lived in Plano the majority of my life, and I can tell you from personal experience that the summer is extremely warm. The temperature often reaches the high 90s to the 100s (Fahrenheit) almost every day in the summer. It's humid sometimes, but not as much since we aren't close to the ocean or any large body of water. It gets humid when its about to rain, and it hasn't rained in a while here.

As far as snow goes in the winter, I would say you have to worry about the snow so much as you have to worry about the ice. Driving when it is icy is dangerous. It might snow occasionally, but for the most part the winters range in temperature from the 20s to the 40s (Fahrenheit).
