As you approach downtown, stay in the far LEFT lane. This lane will eventually peel off (Live Oak exit) and become a surface street. Follow this street as it winds through downtown, and turn right on Elm or Main when you get the chance. Drive west to Lamar St. and turn left. The bus station will be on your right when you get to Commerce St. An alternative, if you are dropping someone off, is to drive to the DART station in Plano. There's one at Parker Rd. and also in downtown Plano (15th St. Exit off of 75). Both are located on the east side of US 75 less than a mile from the freeway. Ride the DART train into downtown, and get off at the West End station. Walk south about three blocks on Lamar St. to Commerce, and you'll be at the bus station. A one-way DART fare is $1.25. http://www.dart.org |
