Summers in Dallas, TX? |
Travel Info Hey, I know that summers in Dallas are very hot... but I'd like to know if that heat is the dry, desert-like heat with the low humidity or the humid heat that makes you sweat like hell? Travel Tips Its hot as a firecracker, but not too humid most of the time. Not desert dry but dryer than many places. Humidity level comparable with Los Angeles. Average highs in the summer is 96 and average highs are in the 90's from early may to mid september. Others it definately is not a dry heat. It is some humid, but not as bad as say Houston It's the sweat like hell kind of heat. Definitely nothing desert-like about it! But it hasn't been too hot the past couple of weeks - under 100 for once. Sticky, sweaty hot. Very humid but a really cool city to visit. Check out the West End and Deep Ellem. Hot and humid. You can expect at least a few days above 100 degrees every summer. And it's not the dry heat. Depends on the summer, but it's mostly a dry heat. In fact this year, we had so little rain over the summer, it was pretty much a dry heat all summer. Definitely not like the humidity up north or in Houston. medium to high humidity, very high after the seldom-seen rain. |
