TEXAS- where is the best place/part/city/town to live? |
Travel Info I have a daughter and a boyfriend. We do plan on having more children so somewhere that would be good for raising a family, excellent schools for both academic and athletics. Travel Tips Stay away from: -Any town within 10 miles of the Mexican border, including Brownsville, Laredo, Eagle Pass, and El Paso. These communities are very poverty-stricken and have high crime rates. -Dallas proper and Irving. High crime rates. -Inner-cities of Houston and San Antonio. High crime rates. There are still tens of thousands of communities, neighborhoods, villages, towns, and cities to choose from in Texas. I have yet to find one I just despise, and the vast majority of them will welcome you. Once they see that you are polite, decent, law-abiding, and at least try to be friendly, you'll be treated like family. Others North of Houston is nice. The Fair Field subdivision that is in Cypress ,TX near Houston is nice and they have their own elementary school and the upper grades attend CyFair which is a good school. It is close to Spring Cypress where there lots of places to shop and to eat out at My brother in law lives in texas..Waco to be exact. I wouldn't recommend living there. They barely use electricity and there bill is over $300.00 every month! yucky! Mesquite Texas Kerrville.. Brenham.. Bryan College Station Tyler Marble Falls Montgomery The Woodlands Austin, TX http://www.austin360.com/ |
