Travel Info My husband and I want to go to the zoo tomorrow. Should we go to Ft. Worth,TX or Dallas,TX zoo.? Travel Tips If you really have a choice the Ft. Worth zoo is bigger and nicer. If you want to break up the day a little you could go to the Dallas zoo, the down to Fair park for the Aquarium of the Americas. It's cool enough to stay outside in Ft. Worth though. Others Go to TO's house and watch his antics. Includes poo flinging and eating bugs. The Dallas Zoo is good and a little cheaper than Ft. Worth. We've been to the Dallas Zoo many times and our kids love it. Depends on where you live and how much youwant to spend. i like the ft.worth zoo better,.. however consider going to the livestock barn at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas,.. this is opening weekend the weekend Fair Park is at its' cleanliest , take in a rodeo, dog or calf show along with all the other fair exhibits Both zoos are outstanding. Dallas has one of the best primate exhibits in the US while Fort Worth has better variety and great exhibits on the various ecology zones in Texas. Fort Worth gets bonus points for not being in the hood. It just feels safer than Dallas. Our family loves the Fort Worth zoo. It is just more pleasant to see the animals in more natural habitats. The dallas zoo is kinda sad. Plus if you go to the Fort Worth one you can eat dinner at the stockyards afterwards. Dallas Zoo is okay, but the Ft. Worth Zoo is much nicer and in a nicer area...I think you will enjoy it much more...Have fun.. |
