Travel Info some kind of water source would be nice no more than 2 hours away from dallas TX Travel Tips it's definitely more than 2 hours, but in Laredo, Lake Casa Blanca was cheap, beautiful, and affordable... but since you need one near Dallas... Go to this website, they have plenty of ways to look up campsites and their prices: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/ It's the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Webpage. I wanted to go camping in the spring, and this helped tremendously. It also shows the restrictions, and the seasonal prices as well. I hope this helps!! Theres a few nice lil campgrounds on Lake Lavon, Just North East of Dallas. Google the rest, But its no more than 30 miles from downtown Dallas. |
